My Story

My name is Jennifer Brandt and I am a Certified Yoga Therapist working primarily with women over 40 who are experiencing discomfort in their bodies, minds, and/or spirits. I listen to my clients needs and desires and design custom yoga practices that bring all parts of them into balance so they can experience better health and wellness.

After years of struggling with anxiety and digestive issues, I was diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowel Disease and told I would have to go on some pretty heavy duty drugs. It was my wake up call. I knew I would have to make big changes in my life. I could also see the difficult road ahead advocating for myself in the scary sea of doctors, medications, and procedures. I began working with a Yoga Therapist who gave me a yoga practice that helped bring my body and mind into balance so I could better manage the road ahead.

It certainly didn’t come easy, but eventually my yoga practice became a part of my routine and I paid closer attention to what my body was telling me. Over time I incorporated more and more yoga tools into my life and eventually it culminated into a healthier lifestyle. Today I am symptom free and continue to stick to my yoga practices to keep myself grounded and healthy.

Traditional yoga practices (including postures, breathing techniques, meditation, visualization, mudra, chanting, and Ayurvedic lifestyle) are powerful tools when applied appropriately. It is my mission to teach these tools to other women who are seeking relief in their bodies and minds.

I was incredibly fortunate to find Yoga Therapy to help my body, mind, and spirt get back into alignment so I can live the life I want to live. Are you ready to live the life you want to live?
